Photoshop is professional image editing software and is available for both Windows and Macintosh. It has become a key tool for designers involved in garden design and interior design to render plans and 3D drawings. It gives a true freedom of experimentation as everything is reversible – colours and graphics can be changed at the click of a mouse.
Standard drawings can be imported from computer aided design programs, such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks and SketchUp, and quickly manipulated into the desired aesthetic. Photoshop allows the user to change a drawing from a standard line drawing to watercolour or charcoal, to name just two of the many options.
Photoshop is traditionally used as a tool to alter photographs and by simply cutting and pasting it is possible to build up a montage 3D view to help communicate your ideas.
Whether you are a working designer or involved in a garden design course or interior design course, this two-day Photoshop course will help you to make the most of this popular program in your design work.
If you wish to enrol on this course, please contact the Course Administrator for an application form.
