Emily Johnson – Graduated 2010
Emily Johnson graduated from Inchbald School of Design in July of 2010 having gained a Merit in her Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Design.
In 2011 she and her father Christopher, who has worked in the ceramics industry since 1958, formed 1882 Ltd.
This company continues the legacy of the Johnson brothers who in 1882 began producing ceramics in the heart of the Stoke-on-Trent Potteries. The company name evokes the deep routes of the family heritage, Emily being the 5th generation.
The V&A Museum Shop is showcasing the work of 1882 Ltd from February to May 2013.
