This short four-day course is an introduction to interior design and decoration that encourages students to develop their knowledge and interest by exploring a broad selection of the issues faced by practitioners of this extensive and fascinating discipline.
The pace of this introductory course in interior design and decoration is fast, and will be a mixture of lectures and workshops and there will be the opportunity to discuss design ideas and presentation. Subjects range from aesthetic considerations – proportion and space and the perceptual impact of colour, light and texture – to the practical matters of ergonomics and space planning.
