James Alexander-Sinclair FSGLD is one of the United Kingdom's most respected garden designers, writers and broadcasters. A graduate of Inchbald School of Design, he has built a distinguished career spanning garden design, journalism, television and public speaking, becoming one of the best-known ambassadors for the profession.

Alongside designing private gardens throughout the UK and Europe, James has served as a Vice-President of the Royal Horticultural Society and its Ambassador for Garden Design. He has judged show gardens at RHS Flower Shows since 2006, received the RHS Veitch Memorial Medal for his outstanding contribution to horticulture, and is a regular contributor to publications including Gardeners' World, Country Life, The English Garden and The Garden Design Journal. He is also a familiar voice and face on television, radio and podcasts, where his wit, knowledge and enthusiasm have inspired audiences around the world.
