The Inchbald Diploma offers a rich and immersive education in garden design, combining creative exploration with technical expertise and professional practice.
You will learn to develop and communicate design ideas with confidence, applying theory to a diverse range of projects and gaining a deep understanding of how gardens respond to their surroundings, context and users. Through drawing, visualisation and contemporary digital tools, you will develop the skills to express your ideas clearly and creatively.
The course explores the art and science of planting design, encouraging you to understand plants as dynamic, three-dimensional elements that shape atmosphere, structure and seasonal interest. You will also gain a practical understanding of landscape construction and materials, learning how to translate imaginative concepts into beautiful and enduring spaces.
