Directors
Inchbald is led by its Dean and Founder, alongside the Directors of the Interior Design and Garden Design faculties. As a staff-owned school, our academic and professional team are also shareholders, creating a culture of shared responsibility, commitment and pride in the school's continued success. Our tutors are accomplished designers, educators and practitioners who bring together extensive teaching experience with active professional practice. Assistant Directors
Our Assistant Directors play a central role in the student experience, overseeing the delivery of teaching, tutorials and studio practice. Working closely with students throughout their studies, they provide academic guidance, monitor individual progress and ensure every student is supported, challenged and encouraged to achieve their full creative potential. They act as a vital link between students, tutors and faculty directors, helping to maintain the high standards of teaching and personal attention for which Inchbald is renowned.
Inchbald Online
Our Online Team is dedicated to delivering the same exceptional learning experience to students studying remotely as those on campus. Working closely with faculty, tutors and technical specialists, they ensure online teaching runs seamlessly while providing ongoing academic, technical and pastoral support. From virtual studios and live tutorials to recorded content and digital resources, the team creates an engaging, collaborative and accessible learning environment that enables students to thrive wherever they are in the world.
Tutors
Inchbald tutors are selected for their exceptional combination of academic expertise and established professional practice. As leading designers working across a broad range of disciplines, they bring current industry knowledge, creative insight and real-world experience into the classroom. Through tutorials, studio teaching and project critiques, they mentor and inspire students, offering individual guidance, constructive feedback and the confidence to develop original, thoughtful and professional design solutions.
Guest Lecturers
Inchbald's Guest Lecture programme brings leading voices from the worlds of interior design, garden design, architecture, art and the wider creative industries directly to our students. These inspiring talks provide valuable insight into contemporary practice, emerging ideas and diverse career pathways, offering students the opportunity to learn from some of the profession's most respected designers and thought leaders. Guest lectures enrich the curriculum, encourage critical thinking and foster connections with the wider design community.
Administrative & Student Services
Our dedicated support staff are committed to ensuring every student enjoys a rewarding and successful experience at Inchbald.
